Originally by: Kernel Flux Applied patch to 2 iMacs. One - 3.0GHz with nVidia card, 2nd 2.3Ghz with ATI card. ATI machine comes up with the login screen, NVidia Mac just sits there. Re-downloading full client now.
What's up with that?
Hi. If the client starts up with a black screen, I suggest that you clear clear your cache and settings folder. Info on how to do this can be found here: http://support.eve-online.com/Pages/KB/Article.aspx?id=371
OK cache and setting cleared, restarted, no joy. It's not that i get a black screen - i get nothing at all. This is now officially broken on this machine.

Hi.
Try the following:
1. Open Finder 2. Hit shift-apple-G 3. Type: ~/Library/Preferences/ 4. Move the entire EVE Online preferences folder to the trash 5. Restart the client.
Done - same result.
